Behavioral Therapy
Have you noticed behavioral changes in your child?
Is your child angry and defiant?
Does your child refuse to listen to you?
Behavioral Therapy Can Help Your Child Make Better Choices
I use a multi-modal approach to Behavioral Therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Non-Directed Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I am committed to working collaboratively with parents and caregivers throughout the therapy process to create achievable goals and to measure and sustain success. My primary goal when counseling parents is to help then understand and utilize techniques that can help their child attain success.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy combines behavioral therapy with cognitive therapy. It helps patients understand how their thoughts and beliefs influence their actions and moods. It focuses on a patient’s current problems, how their thoughts and actions contribute to those problems, and how to ultimately solving the problems by changing the thoughts and behaviors that contribute to the problems.
